Raufu Olaniyan, deputy governor of Oyo State might be removed from office by the end of today, OYOINSIGHT.COM can report.
This removal became apparent following the submission of a report by a 7-person panel constituted by the state governor, Seyi Makinde, to look into the allegations against his deputy.
The panel sat for barely 24 hours before submitting its findings to the House.
As today’s proceedings began, this newspaper gathered that security has been beefed up around the state secretariat as vehicular movement has been halted.
