Obi Commiserates With Arapaja Over Mother’s Death

The Onyendu Ndigbo (Igbo Leader) of Ibadanland and Oyo State, High Chief Alloy Obi, has commiserated with the former deputy governor of Oyo State and Deputy National Chairman (South), of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Limotalai Arapaja.

Obi who led a delegation that included Major (Dr.) Cosmos Uzoh (rtd); Chief Isaac Ozeze; Mr. Simon Chukwu and Joseph Obi, to the Felele, Ibadan residence of Arapaja, commiserated with Arapaja and the extended family over the death of their matriarch.

While extolling the virtues of the departed matriach, Obi offered words of encouragement and support to Arapaja and his other siblings while describing Alhaja Arapaja as a pillar of strength and shining example of grace.

He said, “We share in your sorrow and offer our deepest sympathies. Your mother’s impact on the lives of countless individuals will never be forgotten. While we wish she had stayed longer with us, you and other family members can take solace in the fact that she lived to see her children grow into accomplished individuals who are making significant contributions to the society in their respective fields.

“And it is a fact that the success of her children is a testament to her dedication, guidance and love, and there is no doubt that her legacy will continue to inspire and motivate others.”

Arapaja while responding, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Obi and his entourage for the visit and prayers, stating that the visit and words of encouragement have brought them comfort and strength.
