Coach of Ibadan darling Shooting Stars Sport Club, 3SC, Edith Agoye, is currently being revived at an undisclosed hospital.
Agoye had fainted after being allegedly hit on the head by one of the AkwaStarlets players, goalkeeper, Franklin Akwari.
This was after 3SC played a goalless draw with the Akwa-Ibom Nigeria National League side yesterday.
The referees were not lucky as they were also beaten allegedly by players, officials and pocket of the fans.
3SC, according to a post on the club’s official Facebook page, “are still holed on the pitch with the officials.”
Though details of what led to the unfortunate incident was still sketchy as at the time of filing this story, it cannot be unconnected with their inability to defeat the league leader
