The association of Nigerian Broadcasters have commiserated with the management of Fresh FM and its principal, Yinka Ayefele, over the fire inferno that razed the station’s office.
The association revealed this in a statement on Sunday signed by its President, AbdulRazaq AbdulGaneey.
“Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD), wishes to express its heartfelt commiserations to Fresh FM Nigeria following the tragic inferno that razed part of its headquarters on the evening of Friday, August 15, 2025.
“The news of the fire has deeply saddened us, and our thoughts are with Dr. Yinka Ayefele, the management and the entire Fresh FM team during this difficult time. Fresh FM has beenproviding vital services, entertainment, and a platform for community voices. The loss of any part of this institution is a loss felt by many. This unfortunate incident not only impacts the station but also the countless listeners who rely on Fresh FM for news, music, and support.
”As an association of broadcasters, we understand the challenges that arise from such disasters, and we want to assure Fresh FM Nigeria that ANBROAD stands in solidarity with you. We look forward to witnessing Fresh FM’s resilience and fullvigour upon recovery,” the statement read.
