A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, today continued distribution of bags of rice across the 11 local government areas that constitute Oyo central senatorial district of the state.
The gesture, according to the Oyo-born former works commissioner, is to cushion the effect of the economic hardship, occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic that grounded every sector in 2020.
Distributed among party members, residents and social groups, Akintunde had done same during the Christmas celebration.
Greeting Nigerians as 2021 beckons, Akintunde urged residents to be positive-minded and always be ready to Allen’s helping hands.
