Stakeholders within the real estate value chain as well as the housing property development sector in Nigeria are expected at the National House Fair 6.0, which is designed to promote national development through sustainable housing.
The fair, which is scheduled to hold between 6th to 8th October, 2022 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, would bring together various aspects of trade and industry, foreign ambassadors, business persons, decision-makers, business delegations, entrepreneurs, and innovators,
This action-packed expo, apart from featuring some key attractions including Tradeshows, Exhibitions, Symposiums and Workshops for stakeholders, will also deliver an exciting range of new products, innovations and interactive demonstrations among participants.
The theme is: ‘Youth and Women in Economic Growth and Development: The Future.’
Chief Host, HRH (Dr) Becky Olubukola, while speaking in Ibadan with journalists, explained that the fair is geared towards strengthening trade and investment opportunities in the area of housing and will offer an open atmosphere for private individuals, companies, trade groups and government to have equitable access to housing.
In her words: “Let me use this opportunity to bring the good news to our people everywhere in the world that National House Fair 6.0 will be holding live in Abuja on 6th to 8th of October. At the event, we are also going to be having a three day carnival, which we call the National House Fair carnival. We would go to some streets in Abuja to celebrate the good news of National House Fair, bringing together the youths.
“The theme of this year is centred on Youth and women inclusion in good governance. They say youths are the leaders of the future but I say we are the leaders of today because the future is here now. We really need to decide on our nation by discussing on the global economy. We need to talk about the economic stability of this nation called Nigeria that we are all passionate about.
“We are the leaders of our sectors. What are you doing in your own sector? In housing, we can do the best we can. All over me, you will always see housing and that is why they call me Mama Housing. I am the queen of housing and I try as much as possible to bring affordable homes to your doorsteps, where you are able to get affordable homes in a very reasonable way. So, we bring you affordable and accessible investment.”
Some monarchs expected to grace the three-day event include Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abdulwasiu Gbolahan Lawal; Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse; Sultan of Sokoto, Sheik Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar 111; Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja 11; Minister of Works and Housing, Umar El-Yakub and Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Saheed Ademola Elegushi Kusenla 111.
