Five elders in Ago-Are, a town in the Oke-ogun region of Oyo State, have congratulated Mudashiru Babtunde Omofoyewa on his installation as the new Mogaji of the town by the Baale’to of Ago-Are, Oba AbdulAzeez Omofoyewa.
The elders, in a statement they jointly signed, prayed that the reign of the new Mogaji would witness peace and development in Ito quarters and Ago-are.
They also congratulated all the descendants of the town on the installation of the new Mogaji, who until his retirement in September last year was a teacher at Alaafin High School, Oyo.
Their statement read, “Congratulations to all Jogunomi decendants (home and abroad) as our uncle Mogaji Mudashiru Babatunde Adedigba was installed as Jogunomi (Mogaji) of AgoAre by His Royal Highness Oba AbdulAzeez Omofoyewa, The Baale’to of AgoAre. The new chief replaced late Mogaji Salami Adebisi (former Jogunomi and Chairman of Baale’to Kingmakers) May your reign withness peace and development in ITO Quarter and AgoAre in general. Karaole o! Baba Oloye tuntun.”
