Engr Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Engr Rauf Olaniyan would be presented their certificates of return on Wednesday, 27th March, 2019 by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
At an event scheduled to hold at Premier Hotel, Ibadan starting from 10:am.
Resident Electoral Commissioner, Barr Mutiu Agboke, who confirmed the development, also said that elected House of Assembly members will receive their certificates of return on the same day.
OYO INSIGHT had reported how the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won 26 out of the 32 seats leaving All Progressives Congress, APC and Action Democratic Party, ADP, with 5 and 1 seats respectively.
