The Ogun State Born football administrator made the pronouncement while featuring on a weekly radio show, ‘Parrot Xtra Hour on Radio’ anchored by Olayinka Agboola and broadcast live on the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State’s Oluyole 98.5 FM Ibadan, the state’s capital on Tuesday evening.

The football administrator also took time to describe Makinde as a ‘God-sent’ messiah that will uplift the club.

Balogun affirmed that the governor is providing the team with everything needed adding that this is why the team and its handlers do not have any excuse than to do well, and the only thing the governor is demanding from the management is to restore the club back to the top flight it belongs.

“Governor Seyi Makinde is God-sent to us, when most clubs in this country were paying half wages due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, we were getting our full wages and all the outstanding salaries and bonuses owed by the past administration were all cleared by Governor Makinde.

“Now, our players are happy and in high spirit to reciprocate this good gesture with excellent performance. The singular thing the governor is demanding from the team is a promotion ticket and we’re not going to disappoint him by God’s grace”, Balogun noted.

While reacting to the recent Dapo Abiodun Pre-season Tournament won by the club in Ogun State, 3SC’s general manager said “I always like to participate in the competition because it is a good endurance exercise for the team, it improves the fitness level of the boys and puts them in good shape.

“Although we’re happy winning the cup back-to-back, but, what we really derived from the tournament was the endurance and physical fitness, we played morning and evening during the tourney which improved the fitness level of the boys.

“Our supporters are happy and have full confidence in us presently, there is no bickering, and there is much love within the club, I can say we’re now one big family now”, he enthused.
