The caretaker chairman of Ibadan East local council development area has described the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde as a promise keeper
Hon. Abiodun Babalola made the declaration while flagging off the omituntun free medical mission hosted at the local government secretariat , Iwo road, Ibadan .
The chairman stated that free medical services to all and sundry was a centre part of the electioneering campaign of the Governor.
The programme which had been going round in all local government areas and LCDAs across the state is designed to allow people access free medical services.
He urged residents to avail themselves of this golden opportunity and coperate with the medical team.
While delivering his speech , Commissioner for health , Dr. Bashir Bello said the free medical services is meant for all categories of people , he said the little break in the programme was a results of covid 19 outbreak but he said the programme has resumed in order to attend to the good people of state.
Earlier in his address , the caretaker chairman of Ibadan North East local government , hon ibrahim akintayo , commended Makinde for honouring the four cardinal points of his campaign which free medical treatment treatment is included.
Present at the occasion were the commissioner for health Dr Bashir Bello, Chairman hospital board Dr Gbola Adetunji, among other stakeholders .
