Muraina Ajibola, lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central and North federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Muraina Ajibola, has alleged that Seyi Makinde wants to impose some individuals as the party’s candidates ahead Local Government elections in the state.
Ajibola, a third-term member of the national assembly, made the claim in Igboora, headquarters of Ibarapa Central local government, while speaking with party loyalists on the handling of the party’s affairs by the governor.

He also accused Makinde of being the initiator of the recent move to dissolve the executives of the party in the two local governments within his constituency.
“Can you now see that Governor Makinde is the one behind the moves to dissolve the leadership of the party in the two local governments? Or are you still confused?,” he asked rhetorically.
“Right now he is hellbent on collecting the chairmanship positions, councillorship slot, special advisers, that you worked for and hand it over to some other people. He wants to bring your over four years of mental and financial input to the party to futile.
“I just want you all to continue to hold your head high and ensure no one will disrespect you,” he noted.
He also explained that despite the failure of the governor to recognize his efforts, he told party chairmen from his constituency to do the governor’s bidding at the zonal congress.
“However, I want to assure you that I will not leave any of you. I will continue to put in my best for you.
“Let’s remain steadfast, no one can chase us away from this party,”he added
