As today marks a milestone in the life of our governor, I wish him long life , sound health and a clearer vision for Oyo State .
Many hearty cheers to a performing Governor, who has always taken the interest of his people to heart and always ready to deliver the best to the people at all times.
No wonder, he emerged the best performing Governor in the country in the year 2020
Beyond political rhetorics, GSM has performed wonder in the state right from the inception of the administration.
With the impact of this administration felt across board in all part of the state, particularly on the importance the governor has given to education in the state which led to the state allocating a total of 21% of the State budget to education.
Among the great strides is the issue of LAUTECH the governor was able to resolved amicably with his Osun counterpart.
The Governor as the CSO of the state has taken security in top gear with the purchase and handling over of over 300 surveillance motorcycles and, over 30 buses for the use of the newly established Amotekun Corp to boost the security of the state, for securing the state effectively.
Corruption we know today has become an institutional thing in our dearest country in which if care isn’t taken would continue to worsen and be detrimental to all. Mr. Governor from the beginning of the administration has shown zero tolerance for corruption by firstly declaring his asset and declining his immunity so he can be sued when he’s found culpable in any form of misappropriation. All these led to the creation of The state Anti-Corruption Agency established by an Act of 2019 which is to see that Public and Civil Servants in the state are working without the institutionalized corruption act.
Governor Seyi Makinde as a person who believes governance is continuum also took it upon his administration to revive the moribund Pacesetter Quarry that was established by the Ladoja led administration but was abandoned by the subsequent regime for over a long period of 12 years. All among other completed projects in the state, all to cater for the welfare and well-being of all citizens in the state.
