Less than a week after announcing him as senior special assistant on local government and chieftaincy matter, OYOINSIGHT.COM can report that Prince Yemi Aderibigbe as has been upgraded to a special advisory position by Governor Seyi Makinde.
Makinde, this newspaper recalls, had last Thursday approved Aderibigbe’s appointment as SSA.
It later generated uproar, especially on the social media as many believed that Aderibigbe, who was a special adviser on transports to former governor Abiola Ajimobi, should not be considered for a junior position.
Aderibigbe, who hails from Ijaiye in Akinyele local government, was the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in the 2019 national assembly election in Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency. He was, a time, an elected chairman of his council.
