Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, was absent at a meeting of four major opposition governorship candidates which held at the Awosika residence of former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala this morning.
In attendance were Alao-Akala, who is the candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate, Chief Sharafadeen Alli.
Though the meeting agreed to set up committees to look into modalities for coming together ahead of the governorship election, they all resolved to support the party that performs well in tomorrow’s National Assembly election, OYo INSIGHT learnt.
