The camp of Shina Peller, outgoing member representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola federal constituency in the house of representatives, has faced a major setback as one of the pillars of his campaign Organization, Alhaji Nureni Aliu has dumped the Iseyin-born politicians.
Popularly called Olori Odo, Aliu who has pitched tent with Adebayo Adelabu, governorship candidate of Accord, said his decision was based on the fact that he did not want to play politics of convenience as evidenced in the latest action of Peller who recently pitched tent with ‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State.
“A politician must have principle and must stand for something. Having contested election on the platform of Accord, I would have expected our lawmaker to stand by the party that gave him that opportunity. This sadly is not the case and I would not want to be part of such betrayal”.
