Lanlehin Condoles Ogbomoso Over Soun’s Demise

    Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (SOLAN), has condoled the people of Ogbomoso, over the demise, on Sunday, of the Soun, Ọba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III.

    Ọba Oyewumi, the 20th ruler of the prominent town was a first class monarch, foremost businessman and philanthropist, whose love for the growth and development of his town and that of Nigeria was never in doubt.

    Lanlehin who noted that Nigeria and Oyo State will miss sorely, the innovative contributions of Ọba Oyewumi, in commerce, tourism and community development, urged everyone left behind to take a cue from the life of service and dedication to duty the 95-year old Soun lived.

    “If we all live our lives following great examples of eminent men like Soun Oyewumi, then Nigeria will be a better place for all to live,” Lanlehin added.

    Senator Lanlehin (Solan), while commiserating with the Gbagun Ruling House, the Ogbomoso people, and those of Oyo State, prayed Almighty Allah to grant the revered monarch Al jannah Firdaus, and all he left behind, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
