Adeolu Adeleke, former speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has berated Abiodun AbdurRaheem, commissioner for education in the ‘Seyi Makinde administration for saying former governor Rashidi Ladoja and the governor have settled their rift.

My attention has been drawn to the statement credited to Barr Raheem Abiodun, the Commissioner for Education, Oyo State that Senator Rashidi Ladoja, the former Executive Governor of Oyo State has declared his support for the re-election of Gov Seyi Makinde after resolving their differences. It is imperative to state unequivocally that the statement credited to the said Commissioner who is serving under the administration of Gov Seyi Makinde is far from the truth.

Barr Raheem Abiodun couldn’t have said anything less than this as a serving Commissioner who is looking up for re-appointment if Gov Seyi Makinde wins the second term election. Barr Raheem Abiodun was(and still) never part of the Rashidi Ladoja Political Think-Tank.

He CAN NEVER say anything about politics concerning Sen Rashidi Ladoja. He is just too junior to comment on Ladoja Political Life. The Osi Olubadan of Ibadan land has taken his decision as far as Oyo State Governorship Election is concerned, and he has been working towards it. Almighty God will crown his efforts on this.

Therefore, the statement credited to Barr Raheem Abiodun concerning the position of Sen Rashidi Ladoja on the Oyo State Governorship Election should be discarded. His statement should be considered to be nonsensical, self-serving, irrationalistic, inexpedient and myopic. This is a statement from somebody who has lost touch with reality.
