Kolapo Kola-Daisi, candidate of Accord in last Saturday’s senatorial election in Oyo south, has urged the people of the state to support the gubernatorial aspiration of Bayo Lawal, candidate of his party.
The 44-year old banker made this known in a statement by his media office.
Though he lost his bid to represent the people, OYOINSIGHT.COM had reported how Kola-Daisi congratulated the eventual winner, Sharafadeen Alli of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Fellow Citizens, Dear Comrades, One More Important Step To Take | Statement by KOLAPOBOYE KOLA-DAISI
Dear fellow citizens,
As we approach the upcoming state elections, I urge you all to consider the impact your vote will have on achieving a better future for this place we call home, Oyo State.
Now, more than ever, we need a leader who shares our values and is truly committed to serving the people. I am proud to say that our gubernatorial candidate in the ACCORD, Chief Bayo Adelabu, OFR, is that leader. He is a man of integrity, with a proven track record of excellence in both the public and private sectors.
As a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Chief Adelabu possesses the experience and knowledge necessary to navigate the complex economic challenges facing our State. He is also deeply committed to investing in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and other critical areas that will improve the lives of all Oyo State citizens.
But Chief Adelabu cannot accomplish these goals alone. He needs our support, our votes, and our voices. That is why I urge you all to come out and vote for him and every House of Assembly candidate of the ACCORD on the 11th of March, 2023.
As Oyo state true-borns who do not bow or cower to any external influence, let us rise to the occasion and show the world that we have a mind of our own to choose the candidate who will champion our values, who will listen to our concerns, and who will work tirelessly to make our state live up to its pacesetter status and slogan.
Let us show the nation that “A jí se bí Òyó làárí, Òyó ò se bíi Baba enìkan” is not a farce.
I have faith in our party, I have faith in the capacity of Chief Bayo Adelabu as the next governor of our State, and I have faith in you, the people.
Thank you, and let’s go out and vote for the ACCORD!
Yours in continued service,
Idris Kolapoboye Kola-Daisi.
