A former aide of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi, Hon. Samuel Kola Ajadi, has greeted Christians all over Oyo State as they celebrate Easter.
This was just as he urged Muslims to use the period of Ramadan, which starts next week, to seek God’s face so as to confront the myriads of problems confronting the state and Nigeria at large:
SKA, as the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain who is eyeing Ibadan North West/South federal constituency in the House of Representatives is known, was the chairman of Okebadan local council development area before the incumbent administration removed him and others.
”I want to congratulate our Christian brethren as they celebrate this year’s Easter. While I urge modest celebration, I want to urge us to assist our needy neighbours. We are confronted by many problems part of which is the bad economy occasioned by the ravaging coronavirus pandemic. People need help. Government cannot do it alone. Politicians cannot do it alone. Philanthropists cannot do it alone. Whatever we have, let’s assist the needy.
”I want to use this medium also to urge Muslims to use Ramadan, which begins next week, to seek God’s face. More than before, we need divine intervention. We need to support ourselves as well as our leaders with prayers so as to directed to the right way.”
SKA added that he would continue to assist in his own personal capacity, explaining that he recently dug wells for people. He also revealed that he would soon distribute JAMB forms to the indigent but brilliant students in his federal constituency.
