The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Remi Olaniyan has described the late Hon. Kehinde Ayoola as a man who was committed to the development of the state.
Olaniyan, who disclosed this in a statement on his official Facebook page, also stated that the death of the former speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly is shocking because it occured at a time when his experience would be needed to help shape the future of the state.
He wrote, “The death of Hon. Kehinde Ayoola, Honourable Commissioner for environment is rather shocking coming at a time when his experience will be needed to help in shaping the future of our state.
“Hon. Ayoola was a very amiable fellow who is committed to the development of not only Oyo town where he is from but Oyo state in general.
“Ayoola will be sorely missed, we should however take solace in the fact that good people don’t die, they live forever in the hearts of those who love them.
“My sincere condolences to his family, friends, the people of Oyo town and the good people of Oyo state.”
