Remi Oseni, Yemi Aderibigbe and other too stalwarts of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, would be joining the opposition All Progressives Congress, tomorrow, in what is said to be the first in the series of defections from PDP from APC, in Oyo State.
Billed for the Oke Ado permanent secretariat of the party, Oseni, an engineer and senatorial aspirant; and Aderibigbe, a former council chairman and academic, would be leaving their supporters from across the state into the APC.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has not been having it good with many top stalwarts of the PDP, especially as it concerns the running of the affairs of the party.
The secretary of the party in the state, Tajudeen Olanite, in a statement Friday night stated that “the official defection of top politicians and their thousands of followers would take place at the Oke Ado State secretariat of APC.
“I am delighted to inform you that we are receiving new members into our party, APC tomorrow by 10:00am” he said. fold on Saturday, 30th April 2022,” he said.
