Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has withdrawn the appointment of secretaries, supervisory councilors, special assistants and others across the 33 local government areas and 35 local council development areas.
Though the reasons were sketchy as at press time, sources told OYOINSIGHT.COM that the governor has discovered irregularities in the lists.
It was learnt that leaders of the party had inundated the governor with calls over removal and replacement of some names and positions.
This newspaper further learnt that the governor also directed those that have been inaugurated too to be withdrawn.
