Following the retirement of Mary Odili, justice of the Supreme Court, Iseyin-born Olukayode Ariwoola is now the number two man in the Nigeria judiciary.

A valedictory session was held in honour of the wife of former Rivers Governor, Peter Odili, last Thursday.
Ariwoola, who is an alumnus of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, is second in command to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Ibrahim Muhammad.
Born 22 August, 1958, Ariwoola is a Nigerian jurist and Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He was formerly a Justice of the Nigerian courts of appeal and on November 22, 2011, he was appointed to the bench of the supreme court of Nigeria as Justice, sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria.
