Members of African Democratic Congress (ADC) serving in Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration on Tuesday officially announced their defection to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Their defection, according to GOALPOACHER, was made known at a press conference organized by ADC at an event centre located at Bodija, Ibadan.
The three Commissioners who defected include, Hon Wasiu Olatunbosun (Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism), Hon Adebisi ( Commissioner For Agric) and Barrister Seun Asamu (Commissioner for Energy).
Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Hon Wasiu Olatunbosun added that other defectors include, special advisers to the Governor, elected vice-chairmen at local governments, elected councillors and Supervisory councillors.
Hon Wasiu noted that the party members made the decision to integrate themselves into the PDP fold to further enhance the reelection of Governor Seyi Makinde in 2023.
