Taofeek Arapaja, newly elected deputy national chairman (south) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has resigned his position as chairman of the party in the southwest.
OYOINSIGHT.COM recalls that the former Oyo deputy governor was recently elected at the party’s convention that took place in Abuja.
Few months ago, he had been elected chairman of the party in the southwest at a congress that took place in Osogbo, the Osun capital.
This newspaper also understands that he would be replaced by one for the chieftains of the party from neighbouring Osun in a yet-to-be fixed zonal congress of the PDP.
