Former governor Abiola Ajimobi just left the Asokoro, Abuja residence of former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala.
Sources who were at the meeting told OYOINSIGHT.COM that Sen. Teslim Folarin was also at the meeting which was organized to fine tune arrangement to reconcile aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State.
Another source who did not want name mentioned said the meeting centered on the need to reposition APC ahead of 2023.
This newspaper recalls that Ajimobi and Alao-Akala reconciled few days to the 2019 general election. Alao-Akala had defected to the Action Democratic Party, ADP, following the alleged imposition of Oloye Bayo Adelabu as governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

This was few years after Alao-Akala had reconciled too and joined the APC. Folarin was completing his second term in the senate while Alao-Akala was seeking a second term as governor.
While Ajimobi lost his bid to return to the senate in the 2019 national assembly election, Folarin was elected for the third term. This was after he had ‘rested’ at home for 8 years- 2011 and 2019. Ajimobi was senator between 2003 and 2007. He was governor between 2011 and 2019.
OYOINSIGHT.COM that the trio were spotted in London in 2017. The duo of Alao-Akala and Folarin would later announce their formal entry into the APC.
