Bolanle Agbaje, who represented Ibadan North constituency 1 between 2015 and 2019 has resigned her membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC in her ward 5.
In a letter sighted by OYOINSIGHT.COM, said that APC, since 2015 when she used it to contest and won, has consistently moved away from its founding ideals, tenets of democracy and sound ethical principles for the benefit of few to the detriment of the collective.
This newspaper recalled that Agbaje was unable to secure the 2019 house of representatives ticket of the APC in Ibadan North federal constituency.
His personal assistant, Habeeb Amubikaun confirmed the development but said he doesn’t know which party his former boss would pitch tent with.
Further investigations by OYOINSIGHT.COM revealed that the female politician would be joining Joseph Tegbe, like Fatai Akinsanmi, Jide Adewale and others, in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Recall that this newspaper had exclusively reported how Tegbe, a management consultant, left APC to become the senatorial candidate of the party for Oyo South.
