Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Engr. Idris Adeoye, has congratulated members of the party and Nigerians at large on the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the country’s next President.
Tinubu, a former Lagos State Governor, was declared winner of the keenly contested election on Wednesday.
Adeoye, who is the head of finance committee of the APC campaigns, also congratulated Senator Teslim Folarin, governorship candidate of the party, for rallying round everyone.
Reacting in a statement made available to newsmen today, Adeoye noted that Tinubu’s emergence is a good development.
“For years, he developed Lagos, Nigeria’s largest economic hub and now its time to replicate this at the national level; its time for renewed hope.
“Asiwaju’s victory was never in doubt. It’s the reward for his selfless commitment to Nigeria’s growth for decades,” the chieftain wrote.
He added that residents of Oyo State must now come out to ensure this victory is replicated in the state by voting the party’s candidates at the gubernatorial and state house of Assembly elections scheduled for March 11.
