Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (Solan) has reiterated the need for Nigerians to remain hopeful of a better tomorrow, notwithstanding the challenges besetting the nation currently.
Lanlehin, in a new year message released by his Media Bureau in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, maintained that once there’s life, then there’s hope. “The good times will surely come,” admonished Lanlehin, who represented Oyo South Senatorial District between 2011 and 2015.
Lanlehin, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who felicitated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Obas throughout the length and breadth of Oyo State, Ibadan High Chiefs, Mogajis and Baales, including leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), wishes them all, a happy new year.
Senator Lanlehin who charged government, both at the national and state levels to make equity, fairness and justice the cardinal principles of their administration, reminded them that only then can they run a people-centred government which truly delivers democratic dividends, and which out of office, they can as private individuals, walk with heads high and assured of the kindness of posterity.
While praying for God’s continued guidance over the nation’s leaders, Lanlehin urged the Federal Government to prioritize the economy, security and welfare of Nigerians, as he charges Nigerians in turn to remain steadfast, patriotic and commited to the growth and development of their beloved fatherland.
