The umbrella body of all sons and daughters of Ibadan in the Diaspora, Ibadan Descendants’ Union, led by the National President, Jagun Olubadan Abiola Iyiola, has sent congratulatory messages to three prominent Ìbàdàn prides, Oba Dr Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli-Okunmade 1, the Olubadan of Ibadanland; Chief Dr Jacob Bode Amao, the Asiwaju of Ibadanland and Chief Dotun Sanusi, the Chairman of Ilaji Resorts, on the celebration of their birth anniversaries.
In a congratulatory statement released by the Public Relations Officer of Ibadan Descendants’ Union, USA Inc, Mr Sola Bolomope, the Union expressed happiness for another rounds of glorious years attained by the prominent trio. Ibadan has immensely benefitted from the scholarly mind and political sagacity of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr Olalekan Balogun, and enterpreneurial/industrial acumen and philanthropic gestures of both Chief Dr Bode Amao and Chief Dotun Sanusi. They’re indeed worthy mentors and exemplary elders to many Ibadan sons and daughters scattered around the world.
The congratulatory statement reads: “It’s our heartfelt joy to rejoice with our fathers on the attainment of another glorious years on earth. We are elated to associate with our illustrious elderly Celebrants as they remain our sources of pride and strength. We are particularly happy that Oba Dr Olalekan Balogun, 80, and Chief Dr Bode Amao, 90, are enjoying the grace of excellent health despite their ripe ages while we pray for sustained excellent health and more fruitful years for our fathers as we also pray for Chief Dotun Sanusi, 54, to live long and in great health too.”
