Ahead of this year’s Ibadan week celebration annually organized by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, the committee chairman, Asiwaju Nurudeen Akinlabi, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to a leading governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Engineer Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe at his Bodija Residential House.
According to Akinlade, “his is the first place they are visiting,” confirming that Tegbe family are from Ibadan.
The visit is not unconnected to the commencement of the Ibadan Week and his aspiration to govern Oyo State and take over from Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State, saying that the aspirant has all the intellectual, experience, professional and native intelligent to become Oyo State Agodi landlord come 2019.
Sources told OYO INSIGHT that Akinlade described Tegbe as an illustrious son of Ibadan who has been committed to the welfare of Ibadanland before now and hopes that he would continue to be contributing his efforts and quotas to the wellbeing of Ibadanland and Oyo State in general.
