The inaugural local Government meeting of the All Progressive Congress Ibadan South-West Local Government is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
A statement signed by the APC chairman, Ibadan South-West Local Government, Arch. Joseph Omoniyi and made available to newsmen, stated that the meeting which will hold at the statutory venue for the local Government meetings, at Baptist secondary school Oke-Ado will be the first of it’s kind since the Inauguration of the local Government executives by the Isaac Omodewu led state executive of the party.
He said the meeting which is also aimed at rallying round members of the party will among other things intimate party faithfuls on the moves by the National and state executives of the party at ensuring an all inclusive, participatory and effective party administration at all levels.
According to Arch. Omoniyi, members of the party will also be briefed on preparations towards the forthcoming zonal Congress and the National convention of the party in Abuja.
Arch. Joseph Omoniyi also used the occasion to urge party faithfuls across the 12wards of Ibadan South-West local government to troop out en-masse to welcome the state executives of the All Progressive Congress in the state who will be in attendance at the meeting.
