The 21 Ibadan Obas of led by The Otun Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, on Monday, visited the Ajimobi family to commiserate with them on the passage of their patriarch, who is the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
OYINSIGHT.COM reports that Ajimobi died after a brief illness in Lagos last week Thursday.
The Obas were received by the widow and children of the two-term governor of the state.
The PRO of the Obas who spoke on behalf of the group celebrated the life of the former governor and the thanked God for positioning him so that the family heritage of each monarch can become known.
He admonished the family to celebrate Senator Abiola Ajimobi because he peaked excellence at all he did in and out of power.
The delegation also visited the graveside of Ajimobi at his Oluyole residence and offered prayers for the repose of his soul.
In the same vein, A delegation of Christian leaders led by Pastor O.O. Akinosun also visited the family.
The group which included Prophet S.K Abiara, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, Pastor S.O Oladele, and Pastor E. Amapur prayed with the family and promised to constantly lift them before God.
Reacting on behalf of the family, Mr. Kolapo Kola Daisi expressed appreciation to the visitors for their support during this trying period and urged them to always pray for the good of every member of the family left behind by the deceased.
