Power minister and gubernatorial hopeful, Adebayo Adelabu, is currently in a meeting with aggrieved All Progressives Congress, APC, aspirants in his Iyaganku house, OYOINSIGHT.COM can report.
This was just as this newspaper learnt that some leaders of the party from Abuja, together with those in the state are also at the meeting. Sources said they got to Ibadan few hours ago from Lagos where they had landed.
The development, it was learnt, will make the campaign slated for 10 am at the Bodija market, to be delayed for few hours.
It would be recalled that almost all the aspirants were dissatisfied with the way Olatunji Adewale emerged as candidate of the party, for the August 16, 2025 bye election in Ibadan North federal constituency.
The latest efforts, a party leader who did not want name in print said, have ignited hope in the party as it works to replace late Musiliudeen Akinremi, two-term APC reps member who died last year.
