Asiwaju Odo of Yorubaland, Dr. ‘Rotimi Ajanaku has felicitated with Chief Bayo Adelabu on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
Adelabu, a former deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, was the 2019 gubernatorial candidate of the APC.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Ajanaku described as an accomplished individual he has never doubted his ability.
He wrote: “Ever since our paths crossed, I have never doubted your ability. I became struck with you immediately. Reaching 50 is a milestone. It is a thing of joy
“At 50, God has been so kind to you that you have achieved greatness. Before 40, you have reached the top in your chosen banking career. You had another plan in mind but God’s plan for you was different. You were elevated to the apex bank in the country, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
“Not done, you retired voluntarily to serve our dear state. God has a purpose for everything. Despite what happened in the 2019 elections, you have not stopped contributing to the economic development of Oyo State. Your real estate and hospitality, together with the two you are commissioning today, have continued to assist our people in terms of employment generation and internally generated revenue drive.
“In the last 17 months, after the general elections, you are one of the few who have contributed a huge amount to the socio-economic development of Oyo State.
“As you clock 50, may God almighty continue to be with you and all that is yours.”
