The management of Eternal Home Limited, a private cemetery located in Motunde, AFIJIO local government area of Oyo State has drawn the attention of individuals, religious bodies, artisans, community leaders, market women, civil servants and social groups to the fact that its cemetery is for all.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Adebukola Kadiri, explained that the cemetery is currently the foremost resting home for departed relatives, friends and loved ones in the state adding that it is “a place of very exquisite and aesthetical design, where corpses have peace of mind.”
“The idea of building this cemetery came as a vision and the need to give people comfort after life, beauty for ashes, ashes for beauty for our loved ones. This place also offers solutions to the danger confronting cemeteries in the state.
“The allocation space here is big enough for the state, we want people to put away the wrong perspective that our loved one must be buried in our homes, no it is wrong, in fact the law frowned against it, if it is for the purpose of remembrance, people come here everyday, weekly, monthly for remembrances with flours and all sort good gifts for their loved ones,” she explained.
She noted that the cemetery has vaults available not for the elite alone, but everyone.
“Out price ranges, depending on what people want. It is best for people to have reserves here because of unseen circumstances,” she said.
She noted that gone are the days when people just bury their dead ones anywhere, though burying at individual homes is still happening but not as rampant as before.
“However, with the advent of my modern cemetery, people can now bury their dead in a private, safe place, where memories of departed one will linger for generations of children.
“God has really been good and merciful with us here. We currently enjoy the patronage of people across all religions and tribes. In over one year since we began our operations, different people have been coming to buy secured vault spaces for their loved ones, mostly elders at home. Our vaults are; Pearl vault, Emerald vault, Crystal vault, Amber vault, Ruby vault among others.
“Our clients cut across prominent people who have been here are captains of industries, politicians, and other prominent people in the society, we hereby use this moment to call on the good people of Oyo state to come and patronise us as we promise the best of service,” she added.
