Oseni, in a statement issued on Friday by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, said Adedeji’s inclination for diligence and contributions towards the development of Nigeria’s socio-economic and political landscape based on his service in various capacities in the past, without any iota of doubt, made him the right choice.

The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), added that he’s confident in the former Oyo Finance Commissioner’s wealth of experience to work in the full capacity of his office to move Nigeria forward.

Oseni, who noted that the Ogbomoso-born financial expert is a great fit for the position, also assured that Adedeji would deliver beyond the expectations of Nigerians in his new national assignment.

“I have the pleasure to congratulate Zacchaeus Adedeji on his new responsibilities and wish him a successful mission. No doubt, your appointment is indeed a round peg in a round hole. Our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has made an excellent choice based on your expertise, experience, and talent”, the statement partly read.

The lawmaker further lauded President Tinubu for finding Adedeji worthy of the noble appointment.
