Dear Mr. President,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.
I write as a concerned citizen of Oyo State, a strong supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and an ardent believer in your leadership vision for Nigeria.
However, I feel compelled to express my deep concerns regarding the continued neglect of Senator Teslim Folarin, the APC gubernatorial candidate for Oyo State in the 2023 elections, in your administration’s political appointments.
Senator Teslim Folarin is a seasoned politician, a loyal party member, and a dedicated public servant who has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
His contributions during his tenure as a senator and his unflinching support for the APC, especially during challenging times, have earned him the respect and admiration of many within and beyond the state.
As the APC gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 elections, Senator Folarin worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the party, despite the electoral outcome.
His efforts to unify the party and bring stakeholders together should not go unnoticed. It is, therefore, disheartening that someone of his political stature, experience, and loyalty has not been considered for a significant role in your administration.
This omission is particularly concerning, given his vast knowledge of governance, his leadership abilities, and his deep connection to the grassroots. He possesses the qualities and experience necessary to make valuable contributions to your administration and help deliver the progressive change we all seek for Nigeria.
While I have no doubt in your wisdom and ability to appoint capable individuals into key positions, it is important to remind Your Excellency that ignoring loyal and competent party members such as Senator Folarin could foster disillusionment among the party faithful.
As a leader who has always promoted inclusiveness and fairness, I respectfully urge you to reconsider this apparent oversight and recognize the invaluable contributions of Senator Teslim Folarin to the APC and Oyo State.
By appointing him to a suitable position in your administration, you will not only strengthen the confidence of party members in your leadership but also benefit from the wealth of experience he brings to the table.
Oyo State deserves adequate representation, and Senator Folarin is a strong and capable voice that can help actualize the goals of your administration.
I trust that you will give this grievance the necessary attention it deserves and take appropriate action.
I look forward to your kind and favorable response in addressing this issue.
