As reactions continue to trail the news of demolition of Music House owned by Entrepreneur and entertainment maestro Dr Olayinka Joel Ayefele MON.
The member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Olusunbo Olugbemi has joined millions of sympathisers to condemned the disrespectful attitude of Oyo State government to the rule of law and right of citizen as entrenched in the constitution which the government ought to uphold and defend.
The honourable without equivocation berated the act of flagrant disobedience to the rule of law as issues related to the said property was already before the court of competent jurisdiction to decide on.
Olugbemi also frowned at the jungle justice perpetrated by Governor Ajimobi led government and described the process as anti human and abuse of power.
He opined that the government should have sealed off the property while litigation lingers rather than outright demolition of about a billion naira worth property that employs several citizens of the state.
While empathizing with the owner and staff of the outfit, Olugbemi expressed fears in the fact that the action of the state government portrayed the state as not being Investors’ friendly.
Olugbemi however enjoined law abiding citizens of the state to remain calm in spite of all provocations and go about their lawful businesses while they awaits court pronouncements on the matter.
