Ex-Gov Ajimobi’s Aide, SKA, Donates Well To Residents

A former senior special assistant to late former governor Abiola Ajimobi, Hon. Samuel Kola Ajadi, has donated a well to residents of a community in Ibadan North West local government.

Speaking at the commissioning of the project, Ajadi, who was chairman of Oke‘badan Local Council Development Authority, described it as one of his efforts to give back to the society.

“We give all thanks to Almighty God for this great opportunity and making this project a successful one. This is not the first time of I am taken giving back to my community as my responsibility.

“The Samuel Kola Ajadi foundation has dug 3 wells before; with these making 5 in a ward and we started this well digging project from ward 6 because this is my ward and where I was born. Moreso, there is a popular saying that charity begins at home.

“We also want our people to know that this is not the sole responsibility of the government, everyone must partake in community development through different donations. So, that’s why SKA foundation is setting a pace.

“Moreso, as a pioneer Executive chairman of oke badan LCDA, we have contributed meaningfully for the betterment of our people through facilitation of laudable projects to our constituency such as sinking of drinkable borehole, donation of dialysis machine, Good Road network and lots more. We also promise our people that this project will not be limited to ibadan Northwest alone but will cut across the Northwest/ Southwest federal constituency, may God help us,” he said.

Speaking at the event, a leader chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Alh M.K Olaoye described the project as a commendable one.

According to him, “Hon. Ajadi is a philantropist with good heart who is ready to impact lives of the people positively by contributing immensely to his immediate environment, we still expect more it from him. Having such a person in a political position will never be a regret, he has been tested and trusted through his antecedents that speak volume of itself. On behalf of my humble self and loyal followers in ibadan Northwest local government, I appreciate him and I pray that may God Almighty grant him all his requests,” Mr. Olaoya said.

A resident, Mrs folashade Iyanda, who spoke on behalf of women and youths, also appreciated Hon. Ajadi for his unrelenting efforts toward improving the lives of residents.

Anothet resident, Imam Dauda Akindele, who spoke on behalf of the community, also eulogised Samuel Kola Ajadi Foundation for the project.
