On why he was honoured, FOMWAN explained that Bello has always been supportive not only to the organization but to anything Islamic. That, the leadership said, informed their decision to encourage and motivate him with the award.

They added that Igboora-born politician and construction consultant has become a model and exemplar for Islamic, urging other young Muslims and professionals to emulate him.

In his acceptable speech, the graduate of civil engineering from the From Federal University of Technology, Minna, said the honour would spur him to render many support for FOMWAN and other sister organisations.

He explained that giving has become part of him and that was the reason he seeks to represent his people in the House of Representatives when he contested.

“I want to thank the leadership of FOMWAN for deeming it to honour me. This will, in no small way, motivate me to do more. When I decided to join politics, it wasn’t for anything than to assist people. It isn’t that one can’t assist people in their private capacity but there is more that can be done when you are in government. I am grateful for this encouragement,” he said.
