Fola Akinosun Mourns Deceased Oyo APC Chieftains

A foremost politician and chieftain of the All progressives Congress, APC in Oyo state, Dr Fola Akinosun has described the demise of some prominent leaders of the party in Oyo state as irreplaceable loss.

Dr Akinosun said this while paying condolence visit to the family of Chief Olu Opawale of The Airport area of Egbeda local Government area of Ibadan.

He noted that it is in the same way in Ibarapa Land, that the party lost beloved Chief Joseph Oladimeji Eweoba.

Akinosun prayed to God to repose the spirits of the dead and give the good people of Egbeda Local government , Ibarapa East and Oyo state in general the fortitude to bear the loss.

Dr Akinosun described the party leaders as political heavyweights in their lifetimes, who will be missed for their mentorship.

Dr Akinosun explained that the demise of the two cerebral APC leaders in Oyo state has no doubt created vacuum that will be difficult to fill, considering their wealth of experiences, ideas, influences and passion for the growth of the party.

Dr Akinosun also used the opportunity to condole with the family of Ajini, in Bode, Ibadan over the demise of Alh. Karimu Ajini Onibode.

He said the death of Alhaji Karimu Ajini was a personal loss to him and to the former governor of Oyo state, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala who also made a condolence visit to the Ajini family of Bode in Ibadan .

Former Governor Alao-Akala described Alhaji Ajini as a man with sound mind, who still have retentive memory at the age close to one hundred years old.

Otunba Alao-Akala said Alhaji Ajini as fondly called, was a dependable and trust worthy party loyalist in his life time. Alao-Akala noted that Alhaji Ajini’s family must not be abandoned.

In his own condolence message, the philanthropist and grassroots politician, Dr. Fola Akinosun expressed the believe that it is high time we take good care of our aged leaders who are custodian of knowledge and wisdom that could be used to have a successful future in the country.

Dr Akinosun further explained that “Such leaders who had direct relationships with the nation’s founding fathers like the sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, are the custodian of knowledge and wisdom that we could use to have a successful future”

“They are getting old and they need us most at this time”.He said

He prayed for the repose of the deceased and urged the family, friends and political associates of the departed to take solace in God.

In Akinosun’s entourage during the condolence visit was Alhaji Audu Morafa, Chief Engr. Kayode Arowolo, Barrister Rotimi Okeowo, sayo Oyelami and many others.
