Former Ekiti Governor, Ayodele Fayose seems to have secured a major victory in the ongoing power tussle between him and Governor Seyi Makinde as the zonal chapter of party has agreed to return Mr. Eddy Oyefeso as the its National Vice Chairman (South-West)
At the meeting where the decision was made, Makinde’s loyalists were represented by Chief Saka Balogun and Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola alongside other stakeholders of the party from Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti, Osun and Ondo States.
Former Governor Oyinlola and Saka Balogun are currently the chairman and member of Southwest PDP reconciliation committee set up by governor Makinde to reconcile all aggrieved and warring factions in the party’s zonal chapter.
Also at the Ibadan meet were, chairman of Southwest PDP state Chairmen, Dr Sikirulai Ogundele ( Ogun ), Engr Adedeji Doherty ( Lagos ), Hon. Sunday Bisi ( Osun ) and Chief Bisi Kolawole ( Ekiti ).
