As at the time of filing this report, this newspaper cannot ascertain whether or not Olaniyan has honoured the invitation.

Investigation by OYOINSIGHT.COM revealed that a popular Ibadan Mogaji, who was, at a point, close to the number 2 man, has been lined to stand witness against him.

The setting up of the panel is coming few hours after Olaniyan appealed the high court judgement dismissing his case.

OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that Olaniyan had approached the court, asking that the assembly has no right to begin impeachment process against him.

Acting on the instruction of the governor, who felt jolted by Olaniyan’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC, the Adebo Ogundoyin-led assembly had, few days after, leveled allegations against the deputy governor.
