A member of the House of Representative representing the Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Hon. Shina Peller has lent his voice to the calls for the restructuring or scrapping of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS.
In a tweet , the lawmaker, who opined that the police unit called SARS has done more harm than good said the squad should be disbanded.
He noted that Nigerians can’t be quiet and watch the squad cause more havoc adding that kidnappers and ritualist are marauding freely whilst SARS looks away, brutalizing and killing innocent citizens
“This police unit called “SARS” has done more harm than good. We can’t be quiet and watch them cause more havoc! Kidnappers and ritualist are marauding freely whilst Sars looks away brutalizing/killing innocent citizens. Disband Sars now,” he wrote.
