A former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Raufu Remi Olaniyan has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.
The Igboho-born politician in a statement to celebrate the conclusion of this year’s Ramadan, a period of Muslim faithful, described it as a time for reflection.
“For one month, we all increased our relationship with Allah and increased our virtuous deeds.
“As we celebrate the conclusion of this holy month, it is important that we reflect on the lessons from it,” Olaniyan wrote.
This reflection, he explained, is key as it would guide Muslim faithfuls to be remain steadfast at all times.
“It is also important that as we observe Eid, we pray for our country and the incoming administration of our leader, Bola Tinubu,” he added.
