Despite the series of troubles, controversies and academic instability that have affected the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology over the last few years, the institution has been ranked the 14th best in the country.
In the latest ranking of universities globally released by webometrics, one of the most reputable ranking web of universities, LAUTECH at number 14, is the most highly ranked technology university in the country.
The institution had an impact rank of 9606, openness rank of 1287 and excellence rank of 3050.
It was also placed at number 3142 globally.
UI Remains First — And Best
Meanwhile, the University of Ibadan has retained its position as the number one University in the country.
The Premier University retained its position with an impact rank of 2492, openness rank of 706, and excellence rank of 1362.
The institution was also placed 1216 globally being the only Nigerian University in the top 1300 globally.
