The youthful former commissioner, who represented Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, had recently rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC, from the African Democratic Congress, ADC, he joined barely three years ago.

To warm himself into the hearts of the youth, majority of whom he said stood by him even when he was out of APC, Lam-Adesina had sent invites to attendees who were drawn from various local government across the state.

The interactive session, which was a no-holds barred, afforded the 42-year old answering questions on why he left the APC, his return and how young people can take over power.

Many issues relating to reward system in politics were broadly discussed by all, and as well as personal concerns concerning youth development and proper empowerment for personal development and zeal to be self sufficient.

Saying that late former governor Abiola Ajimobi was his benefactor, “I will be forever be grateful to him for giving me the platform. It was an after thought. That was after the 2011 election. He had concluded his list when he called that I should forward my curriculum vitae to him which I did. It was later he told me that some people had told him I was a drop-out. He did not I graduated from the ‘almighty’ faculty of technology of the University of Ibadan. That was how we started,” he added.

Speaking earlier, a former publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Wasiu Sadare, had admonished the youths to join politics, explaining that was one of the ways their potentials can be fully utilized.”
