The immediate past lawmaker representing Ibadan South East/ North East federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina also distributed palliatives to constituents in light of the COVID-19 pandemis, OYOINSIGHT.COM can authoritatively report.
Even though some people have been wondering why Omo Olore, as the former lawmaker is fondly called, is yet to distribute palliatives during this pandemic, a reliable source has revealed that the lawmaker also provided succour to the people.
According to the source, Dapo Lam specifically warned his people not to involve the media in the distribution of any support he rendered during this period because he believes “COVID-19 should not be politicized.”
The source also revealed that aside from the fact that it was taken away from the eye of the media, “social distance rule was strictly adhered to without putting both the beneficiaries and distributors’ health at risk.”
OYOINSIGHT.COM also gathered that the palliatives were delibrately distributed unbranded.
“There were beneficiaries of cash transfers from the two local governments that house the federal constituency,” the source added.
