As part of efforts to relief the burden of the people he represents in the house of representatives following the pandemic-induced lockdown of markets and businesses, Prince Akeem Adeyemi, has distributed food items and financial assistance to his constituents in Oyo federal constituency.
OYOINSIGHT.COM recalls that Skimeh, as the two term lawmaker is fondly called, had earlier distributed hand sanitizers, gloves, nose and face masks to his people to prevent the spread of the deadly COVID-19.
COVID-19 has claimed thousands of lives across the globe. And in order to solve it and minimize the effect, governors, especially that of Oyo and others, have imposed curfew and lockdown in their various states, an action which is having a toll on businesses and livelihood of the people.
The food items which includes rice, beans, noodles and garri were distributed to over 6,000 people in places like Durbar, Basorun,Akesan Market, Baba Iyaji, Pakoyi, Orita Moradesa, Oja Iseke, Oke Balogun, Tengba, Apini, Lagbondoko, Iyalamu,?Sakutu, Ashipa Market, Obagbori, Ojude Efo, Agunpopo, Lagunna, Ido Ose Agunpopo, ACCOMORAN, Ajegunle Market, Samu area, Ilora, Awe, Fiditi, and Iware.
Other places were Odo fufu, Kosobo, Mabolaje
Atingishi, Araromi, Fola tyre and Dacamca.
